Job Description
Network and Hosting Infrastructure Specialist $140-165k Position Summary The Infrastructure Discovery & Credential Management Analyst supports enterprise infrastructure visibility by managing discovery access, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and maintaining credential integrity across network and server environments. This role partners with infrastructure teams to ensure accurate asset discovery, CMDB data quality, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage and troubleshoot infrastructure credentials, including SNMP, SSH, WMI, and WinRM. Resolve connectivity, authentication, and discovery issues across network and server platforms. Maintain access to network and hosting environments to support infrastructure scanning and visibility. Collaborate with network, server, and security teams on credential management and access policies. Support discovery tools, connector configurations, and CMDB data accuracy. Manage discovery schedules and document processes, issues, and resolutions. Provide technical expertise on network devices, server environments, and discovery best practices. Required Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. Hands-on experience with credential management, infrastructure discovery, and troubleshooting authentication issues. Understanding of network protocols, including SNMP, SSH, WMI, and WinRM. Knowledge of IP networking, firewall rules, and infrastructure accessibility. Ability to work independently and manage technical issues through resolution. Preferred Qualifications CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification. Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python. Experience with infrastructure discovery tools and CMDB concepts. Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise-scale environments. Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Visibility (Discovery) is a plus. EB-1681960707
