Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure to join one of our clients here in OKC! This role focuses heavily on Cisco and Fortinet technologies and will be responsible for ensuring network stability, scalability, security, and performance across complex environments. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, campuses, and remote locations. Engineer and support Cisco-based routing and switching environments, including LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS. Deploy and manage Fortinet network and security platforms, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer. Support initiatives involving SASE architectures, Zero Trust networking, and cloud connectivity. Design and implement VXLAN/EVPN-based network segmentation and data center fabrics. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance, connectivity, and availability issues. Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain secure and reliable network connectivity. Evaluate, recommend, and implement networking technologies and solutions. Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures. Participate in incident response and provide on-call support as required. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure roles. CCNP or CCDP certification required; CCIE or CCDE preferred. Fortinet NSE 5 or higher preferred; NSE 7 or higher or FCX certification preferred. Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking platforms, including Catalyst, Nexus, and ISR. Hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer. Strong knowledge of routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. Strong knowledge of switching technologies, including VLANs, STP, and port-channeling. Strong understanding of network security and segmentation principles. Experience deploying and supporting SD-WAN environments. Working knowledge of SASE concepts and cloud-integrated networking models. Experience with
VXLAN/EVPN
architectures in data center environments. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills. Experience with cloud networking platforms such as Azure or AWS preferred. Experience with hybrid network architectures preferred. Experience with network automation or scripting using Python, Ansible, or similar tools preferred. Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments preferred. #IT123

$104,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
