EUC Windows EngineerLocation:

Austin, Texas (Remote) Role OverviewWe are seeking an End User Computing (EUC) Windows Engineer to provide technical support, maintenance, and optimization for end-user devices and applications. This role focuses on Windows operating systems and related technologies, requiring a professional who can work within established enterprise processes, governance, and standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience across the full EUC stack and a background in large, process-driven enterprise environments, particularly within financial services. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.



Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, including updates and security patches.



Manage and deploy applications, ensuring compatibility and proper function on end-user devices.



Administer endpoint management tools such as SCCM and Intune for device provisioning, compliance, and application delivery.



Perform device remediation and general systems administration to support the enterprise end-user environment.



Identify areas for process improvement and automation, using scripting to streamline EUC tasks.



Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of solutions.

Required QualificationsEducation:

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop/end-user systems engineering and administration or similar roles is required. Proven experience supporting large-scale end-user computing in a matrixed environment is necessary.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in End User Computing (EUC) administration, Intune management, and SCCM administration.



Deep knowledge of Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, 11) and related technologies.



Experience with application packaging, deployment systems, and automated workstation build methodologies.



Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, or Python for automation.



Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools and infrastructure.



Familiarity with IT security best practices, network infrastructure, security protocols, and application management.



Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills:

Ability to work effectively within established enterprise processes, governance, and standard operating procedures.



Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.



Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Strong sense of ownership and accountability.



Preferred QualificationsExperience with IT ticketing systems like ServiceNow.



Relevant Microsoft certifications.



ITIL v4 certification.
