This is a 24-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay:
$59.00 - $69.00/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maximo Administrator to provide day to day operational support, administration, and continuous improvement for enterprise Maximo environments (including IBM Maximo Application Suite - MAS9). This role will support mission critical asset management platforms and collaborate closely with infrastructure, database, security, and application teams. The ideal candidate has strong hands on Maximo administration experience, understands enterprise IT operating models, and is comfortable working in regulated, compliance driven environments with high availability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administration and operational support for Maximo and MAS9 environments (Prod and Non Prod) Perform environment health monitoring, issue triage, and incident resolution Support application upgrades, patches, and fix packs, including coordination of testing and cutovers Manage configuration changes, system properties, security groups, workflows, and automation scripts (as applicable) Partner with infrastructure teams on environment reliability, performance, and capacity planning Support release activities, including off hours support when required Assist with security, audit, and compliance activities (SOX/SOC1 support, access reviews, evidence gathering) Collaborate with DBAs, OS, middleware, and cloud teams as part of integrated support model Contribute to runbook documentation, support procedures, and knowledge transfer Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and standardization (AdminXP mindset) Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands on Maximo administration experience in enterprise environments Experience supporting IBM Maximo (7.x and/or Maximo Application Suite - MAS9) Strong understanding of: Maximo application architecture Security (users, groups, roles) System configuration and troubleshooting Experience supporting production grade, highly available systems Comfortable working in change controlled, audited environments Strong communication skills and ability to work within distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MAS9 on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Red Hat OpenShift, or similar) Working knowledge of Kafka, APIs, and integration platforms such as webMethods Working knowledge of identity and access management, including SSO/SAML and LDAP/Active Directory integrations Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with enterprise automation tools, scripting, and GitHub-based workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews) Working knowledge of Oracle databases and strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, analysis, and support Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and structured incident/change processes Monitoring/logging experience with tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace (or similar) Experience supporting Maximo in utility, energy, or asset intensive industries Prior experience working as a staff augmentation / contingent worker in large enterprises
