Summary:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco routing, switching, and connectivity solutions. This role will ensure reliable network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support infrastructure improvements across LAN/WAN and hybrid cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise network infrastructure. Support LAN/WAN connectivity, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and network performance optimization. Monitor network availability, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on network upgrades and technology initiatives. Support Microsoft Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, and cloud integration efforts. Maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational standards.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments. Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies. Hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing protocols, and VPNs. Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in LAN/WAN environments. Exposure to Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP preferred.
