This is a chance to take ownership of meaningful architecture work, evolving a flat network into a segmented, zero trust environment while evaluating new security platforms alongside a modern Cisco Meraki foundation. You will partner closely with cybersecurity, cloud, and network operations teams to turn architecture standards into practical, repeatable designs that keep the business connected and secure. This job is expected to pay about $135,000- 170,000 per year plus bonus (the top of the range applies to major metropolitan areas)

What You'll Do:
- Design and implement LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions in alignment with enterprise architecture standards, including hands-on configuration of Cisco Meraki switching, wireless, and security appliances.
- Support the evaluation of new security platforms, including proof-of-concept work with next-generation firewall and SASE solutions.
- Implement network segmentation, VLANs, and access control designs that advance the organization's zero trust roadmap, including firewall policies and secure remote access.
- Deploy and manage SD-WAN connectivity across offices and distributed sites, coordinating with ISPs and vendors on circuit installation and turn-up.
- Build out network connectivity between the enterprise environment and Microsoft Azure, including VPN and ExpressRoute configurations.
Job:
- 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or architecture, with hands-on design of LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Working experience with Cisco Meraki, including switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security appliances.
- Solid understanding of network segmentation, VLANs, routing, and firewall policy concepts.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud connectivity, such as VPN and ExpressRoute, with environments like Microsoft Azure.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, or equivalent hands-on experience, are preferred.
