Job Description

SDET Automation Engineer 1+ Year Contract Memphis, TN (6226) We have an immediate job opening for a SDET Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid role on-site for our global client that has one of their headquarters in Memphis, TN.

•Must be eligible to work on W2 and willing to work onsite daily for this role. Responsibilities Analyze business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies to ensure software meets functional, integration, reliability, and quality standards. Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements reviews, test planning, estimation, release validation, and production support. Design and execute risk-based functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests. Document results, investigate defects using logs and payloads, and communicate quality risks to Product, Development, Deployment, and Support teams. Improve test coverage, automation, and QE processes while independently prioritizing work and recommending release-readiness decisions.

Required Skills:

5-7 years of professional work experience as an SDET Engineer Experience in test automation using Selenium Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman, Ready API, and

REST/JSON

APIs SQL skills with the ability to build queries and validate databases through automation Hands-on experience with Microservice and

REST API

testing, including automation and integration Proficiency with the Atlassian toolset including Jira, Confluence, Stash, and Bamboo Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset Knowledge of cloud-based web application architecture with emphasis on AWS Cloud Understanding of deployment technologies and cloud infrastructure Front-end UI knowledge including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience in the hospitality domain preferred, but not required
