Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer to build and support highly available connectivity solutions across offices, residences, and specialized sites in Westport, Connecticut. This role centers on strengthening network uptime, improving performance, and resolving complex issues across multiple layers of infrastructure. The position works closely with internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to deliver dependable networking services in a fast-moving environment. Limited domestic and international travel is expected to support deployments, project execution, and operational needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, implement, and maintain connectivity solutions for corporate, residential, and specialty environments using technologies such as fiber, cable, cellular, and satellite services.
  • Develop resilient network architectures by establishing redundancy plans, failover approaches, and performance oversight to reduce service interruptions.
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced networking problems spanning carrier services, internal infrastructure, and on-site equipment.
  • Apply and uphold secure network standards across multiple properties to promote consistency, stability, and protection.
  • Serve as the primary IT connectivity resource for construction initiatives, guiding projects from early design review through final activation.
  • Work with construction managers, architects, electricians, and external providers to align low-voltage design, service demarcation, cabling pathways, and equipment requirements.
  • Evaluate technical drawings, vendor submittals, and site conditions to identify risks early and prevent implementation issues.
  • Coordinate launch readiness, oversee cutover activities, and transition completed environments into steady-state operations.
  • Travel to domestic and international locations as needed to support installations, troubleshooting, and project delivery.
  • Perform additional network engineering and operational support tasks as business needs evolve.
