Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing and automation, is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Controls & Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing operations and automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
What's the Job? Design, develop, test, and deploy PLC logic using Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 / 500 for ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and GuardLogix platforms. Configure and manage PTC Kepware (KEPServer/EX) middleware for real-time OT data acquisition and device communication. Perform on-site system commissioning, start-up, loop tuning, and functional testing to ensure optimal operation. Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, CIP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and Profinet. Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation including electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O lists, and network architecture diagrams. What's Needed? Experience programming and commissioning Rockwell Automation control platforms. Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Kepware middleware and industrial networking protocols. Ability to perform root-cause analysis on hardware, logic, and communication failures. Strong understanding of machine safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 62061 / 61508) and cybersecurity best practices.
