A Network Engineer or Architect designs and builds computer network systems, including software and hardware. Runs program and system tests, solves technical problems and maintains the network system. Designs and analyzes computer network models.
We are seeking an experienced technical leader to shape and support a large-scale application delivery environment with a strong focus on F5 architecture, security, automation, and reliability. Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise architecture and engineering for F5 technologies across highly available application delivery environments. Design multi-datacenter and disaster recovery solutions, including advanced load balancing, traffic steering, content switching, and application optimization. Engineer and support security platforms and collaborate with cybersecurity teams on application security, Zero Trust, and protection initiatives. Develop automation and operational workflows using Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Required:
10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience. 7+ years of dedicated F5 engineering and architecture experience. Expert-level knowledge of
BIG-IP LTM, BIG-IP DNS
(GTM), BIG-IP
APM, BIG-IP ASM
/ Advanced
WAF, BIG-IP
AFM, BIG-IQ, VIPRION, VELOS, rSeries, iSeries, and F5OS. Strong expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, NAT, routing and switching, enterprise security architecture, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, REST APIs, and infrastructure as code. Proven experience supporting large-scale, highly available enterprise environments and leading complex infrastructure initiatives and migrations. Demonstrated leadership in technical design reviews, major incident response, troubleshooting, and mentoring engineering and operations teams.
