Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Network / System Engineer III to join their team. As a Network / System Engineer III, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting critical IT operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• What's the Job?
• + Design, deploy, and maintain NoSQL database clusters on Linux operating systems used across various applications.

+ Manage and support multiple development, QA, and production environments for NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, SingleStore, CockroachDB, and Redis.

+ Implement and optimize distributed database solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

+ Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools to streamline database operations and system administration tasks.

+ Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for database and system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• What's Needed?
• + Extensive experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.

+ Proficiency in managing NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, SingleStore, CockroachDB, Redis, etc.

+ Strong background in DevOps practices and scripting languages like Python, Shell, and Ansible.

+ Experience supporting distributed database environments in a production setting.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
