Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This full-time, on-site position operates within a 24/7 mission-critical environment and is ideal for candidates with strong network operations experience, a proactive troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to support key Department of Defense network missions. Candidates must be flexible and available to work rotating shifts based on mission priorities. Active Secret Clearance is required for consideration. Responsibilities for the Network Controller include: Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation, research, and established procedures. Diagnose circuit and network issues through router commands, loopback testing, error analysis, alarm review, and other troubleshooting techniques. Monitor network performance using specialized monitoring tools and escalate issues when appropriate. Create, update, and maintain incident tickets within Remedy. Provide real-time troubleshooting and operational support across a global network infrastructure. Support continuous network availability within a 24/7 operational environment. Qualifications for the Network Controller include: High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of relevant networking or network operations experience. Active Secret Clearance required with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN technologies , including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking. Strong verbal and written communication skills. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required ( Security+ or equivalent ). Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment. Compensation for the Network Controller includes:
Salary Range:
$55,000 - $65,500 annually, based on experience.Benefits:
