full-time About the job We are seeking a Storage IPv6 Administrator to support the client by managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise storage systems within an IPv6-enabled environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, security, and reliability of storage infrastructure while supporting IPv6 adoption and integration across storage technologies. Responsibilities Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and Direct Attached Storage (DAS). Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of storage infrastructure. Monitor storage utilization, capacity, health, and performance metrics. Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues and performance bottlenecks. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. Configure storage technologies to operate within IPv4 and IPv6 network environments. Support storage lifecycle management, maintenance, and operational improvements. Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to support IPv6 initiatives. Required Skills 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage solutions. Experience managing and administering SAN, NAS, and Direct Attached Storage (DAS) environments. Hands-on experience configuring storage systems for IPv6 and IPv4 communications. Experience monitoring storage capacity, health, and performance. Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to storage infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills Strong knowledge of IPv6 networking, addressing, routing, and subnetting. Experience supporting IPv6 migration or modernization initiatives. Knowledge of network design principles and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience working in enterprise or government environments.
