QSSHire is partnering with a secure customer to identify an experienced Network Engineer to support a mission-critical environment through the management and sustainment of a complex and secure network infrastructure. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on network engineer with strong experience configuring and optimizing Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS in a datacenter environment. The Network Engineer will support secure network operations, optimize network processing, and contribute to modernization efforts supporting a hybrid cloud platform transformation. The ideal candidate can work independently while also collaborating as part of an Agile team. ________________________________________

In This Role, You'll:

• Provide network engineering support for a secure and complex datacenter environment.
• Configure, manage, and optimize Cisco-based network infrastructure.
• Support network operations and contribute to performance improvements and reliability.
• Work independently while collaborating within an Agile team supporting hybrid cloud transformation efforts. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Operations:

Manage and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting enterprise mission systems.

Cisco Configuration & Sustainment:

Configure and maintain Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS environments in a datacenter setting.

Routing & Switching:

Configure and support VLANs, routing, and secure network segmentation.

Network Security Settings:

Implement and maintain security settings and best practices across network devices.

Optimization & Performance:

Support Cisco implementations and optimize network processing and operations.

Agile Collaboration:

Work with engineers and stakeholders as part of an Agile team to support hybrid cloud platform modernization. ________________________________________

You'll Succeed Here If You Have:

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) (required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience configuring Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS in a datacenter environment
• Strong experience configuring: o VLANs o Routing o Security settings
• Experience supporting: o Cisco implementations o Network processing and network operations
• Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team in an Agile environment ________________________________________

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with Top-of-Rack (ToR) configurations
• Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) configuration
