  • Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years' related experience
  • Have one or more of the following Network engineering technical certifications provided within DoD 8140/DCWF and/or equivalent DoD training.
  • SecurityX/CASP+;
CCNA, CCNP
Security, CCSP, CEH, Cloud+, CND, GCED, GCIA, GCIH, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, GICSP, GSEC, Network+, Security+ or SSCP.
  • Prior experience with designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networks to include hardware (switches, routers), Intent-based networking, network management systems (NMS), network access control (NAC), quality of service (QoS), network services (timing, logging, etc.
), and ISP/OSP distribution systems (DS) (fiber and copper cables and infrastructure).
  • Demonstrated experience with:
  • Routing and switching, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), deep knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, VLAN design and trunking, high-availability features, and spanning tree optimization.
  • Network design and implementation, including campus network design principles, network segmentation and access, Layer 2 and Layer 3 network topology planning, and network capacity planning.
  • Network hardware expertise, including enterprise routers and high-end switches, fiber optic technologies, and Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) and Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP) optics, and cabling standards.
  • Familiarization with DoD implementations, including cybersecurity standards, risk management framework, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), DoD PKI and certificate frameworks, and ATO. Desired
  • 5 years' experience working on Department of Air Force (DAF) programs and/or knowledge of DAF-relevant projects.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and deploying intent-based networking using
EVPN-VXLAN
standards and technologies.
