Assists business account members and branch staff with all Business Deposit Services banking needs, including but not limited to: treasury management services, transactions, account opening/maintenance, online banking and mobile banking assistance, onboarding, cross-selling of products and services, and resolution of member service issues. Also responsible for providing support to branch staff in the daily administration of deposit relationships.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
30% Assist and/or open business, share, and checking accounts according to the guidelines outlined in the Business Account Manual. Perform document review for complex business structures and assist branch personnel with interpreting that information. Act as a subject matter expert for branch personnel in assisting with opening and/or qualifying new accounts and making changes to existing accounts as necessary. Assist members and branch teams with Treasury Management services-related questions and onboarding. 30% Perform reviews on file maintenance-related tasks for Business Services. Review and track new, overdrawn, dormant, and closed accounts as necessary. Assist in the coordination of Deposit Services related functions such as returned mail, deceased accounts, account maintenance, and routine associated daily tasks. Provide member support for any online banking issues or questions. 20% Assist members and/or the branch network as necessary with issues or questions concerning their accounts, explaining service charges, statement concerns, product features, etc. This could include training in person, onsite, and in group settings. 10% Maintain compliance with related regulations and credit union policies and procedures. This could include assistance in updates, revisions and/or creation of related manuals. 10% Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:
1. Review and complete business new account documents with no unresolved errors according to established department standards. 2. Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union new business account standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations. Promote a sales culture within the branches/call center by example. Help develop staff to recognize these opportunities. 3. Manage and achieve service standard goals, cross-selling goals, transactional goals, and other key performance indicators as required. 4. Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates. 5. Keep management informed of any key issues, trends, or service issues impacting the membership and/or causing a negative impact to the department or credit union.Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Three to five years of similar or related experience. Education A high school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important, and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. Other Skills Strong knowledge of financial institution deposit products and the associated regulations governing those products. Strong verbal and written skills. Experience reviewing business entity and account-related documents. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet member needs. Able to navigate multiple computer systems and applications and utilize search tools to find information needs. Must have Treasury Management experience. Physical Requirements Light lifting required.
