Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
: Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans and programs for computing and information technology, ensuring efficient business data processing, computer services, network architecture, and system security. Supervise all IT team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assess the performance of Cliff Castle Casino's computerized systems while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Responsibilities include maintaining and servicing the company's information systems, as well as managing the distribution of computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment. Oversee Microsoft Windows applications and systems, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of the organization's local area network hardware and software. Handles troubleshooting, router maintenance, user access control, password resets, email setup, system assessments, backups, and restores. Oversees technician training, scheduling, and guidance while ensuring security procedures are tested as scheduled and reported to the Director of IT. Train, schedule, and provide directions for Technicians as needed or as directed by Department Director. Maintains technology policies, standards, checklists, and procedures while overseeing inventory procurement and disposal. Ensures software licensing compliance, tracks software versions, maintains logs, mitigates IT risks. Keeps networks, workstations, operating systems, and applications running smoothly, ensuring timely updates, patches, and circuit functionality per vendor requirements. Maintain user security and email accounts for the business, gaming and tribal business networks. Provide support for switching and routing technology, disaster recovery, network and resource security. Provides technical supervision of IT department staff and oversees the day-to-day activities. Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred): Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

4-Year Degree or higher (Bachelor of Science) in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or equivalent. Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of directly related experience will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, organizational, and planning skills. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Knowledge of and experience with:
LANS/WANS
; Windows Server Environment; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft Exchange; Internet Information Services; backup systems; network/workstation peripherals; printer servers; firewalls, spam & antivirus hardware/software; Cloud environments; network security tools; Active Directory; Webpage. Knowledge webpage & mobile App Design (preferred) Knowledge working with Linux (preferred)
Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
Microsoft certification, CompTIA A+ certification, CompTIA Network+ certification or acquire CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications within 6 months of hire. Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License. Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures. Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment.
