Founded in 2017, we've compiled the largest independent library of aged Kentucky bourbon and rye and established a global presence including offices in Beverly Hills, Louisville and Tokyo, Japan, a 40-acre campus in Danville. Our ambitious growth trajectory includes a new whiskey distillery in Shelbyville, KY, slated for completion in early 2026, and a Japanese distillery in Chitose that that will be completed in late 2026. With over 100 years of combined industry expertise, our diverse team of seasoned professionals and dynamic newcomers has propelled IJW to the forefront of the spirits industry. Our strategic partnership with one of the nation's largest independent Wine & Spirits distributors has enabled us to offer 22 products across four unique private label bourbon brands in 28 states. We have added to our spirits portfolio with our first Tequila and Mezcal brands.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
Manage and maintain our servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner. Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
Network Management:
Administer and configure our local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) to ensure seamless connectivity for users and devices. Monitor network traffic and security, implement firewalls, and enforce network policies to protect against cyber threats.
Security and Compliance:
Develop and enforce security protocols, including access controls, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
User Support and Training:
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their hardware and software-related inquiries. Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower employees to effectively use technology resources.
IT Infrastructure Planning:
Collaborate with management to plan and execute technology upgrades and expansion projects. Assess the organization's future technology needs and propose scalable solutions.
Automation and Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process automation to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Optimize system performance and resource utilization to enhance overall productivity. Must have
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Systems Administrator or a similar role, with at least 10 years of experience. In-depth knowledge of server administration, network protocols, and IT security principles. Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V. Familiarity with storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery procedures. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with team members and end-users. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, MCSA, or CCNA will be a plus.
