Job Description

Position Summary Under the supervision of the IT Manager, this position provides technical support to employees at the Corporate Office and remote locations. The position troubleshoots and resolves issues related to computers, software applications, hardware, and other technology systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, encryption systems, and security systems.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot computers, network hardware, peripherals, printers, scanners, presentation equipment, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues and recommend corrective solutions.
  • Ensure computers connect properly with ERP, file servers, email servers, conference systems, application servers, and other business systems.
  • Respond to IT questions and requests by phone and email and manage issues through the company IT helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage.
  • Work with vendors to resolve technical issues involving computer equipment and software.
  • Support ERP projects by working with the ERP team and Epicor users.
  • Provide daily IT support to employees and help maintain smooth IT operations. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting Windows OS PCs.
  • Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware for desktop and laptop computers.
  • Experience installing software, patches, and updates on desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Experience providing Help Desk support and assisting employees with IT issues.
  • Basic knowledge of network, software, and printing troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of creating PC images for corporate platforms.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Windows Active Directory
  • Microsoft Windows (latest versions)
  • Microsoft Windows Server (latest versions)
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Encryption and Endpoint Protection Software
  • DNS, DHCP, and basic network protocols
  • Diagnosis and repair of laptops, desktops, and display endpoints
  • Ability to deploy and install PC images
  • Printing Servers Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Physical and Work Environment
  • Professional office environment.
  • May frequently work in and around the production area and may be exposed to noise, dust, smoke, heat, cold, and other outdoor conditions.
  • May occasionally need to move around obstacles and work under desks to maintain computers.
  • Must be able to move and position up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires frequent use of a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to sit or remain stationary for extended periods and move around the office as needed.
  • Good communication, hearing, speaking, and visual skills are required.
