Job Description
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a IT Systems Administrator opportunity with a financial organization that values teamwork, exceptional service, professional development, and giving back to the community Your specific duties will include: Administer and maintain the organization's network, server, cloud, and core systems infrastructure , ensuring reliability, security, availability, and performance. Manage user accounts, system access, hardware/software installations, workstations, peripherals, network equipment, and system upgrades throughout their lifecycle. Monitor systems and networks for performance and security issues, proactively identifying and resolving vulnerabilities, outages, and other technical problems. Manage critical cybersecurity and data protection functions , including intrusion detection/prevention, antivirus, anti-malware, content filtering, software updates, backups, and data recovery. Design, maintain, and optimize cloud and virtual environments , ensuring solutions meet organizational requirements for scalability, security, compliance, performance, and cost efficiency. Lead and support IT infrastructure and cloud projects , coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, resolve escalated Help Desk issues, maintain technical documentation, and communicate technology risks and solutions to senior leadership. Required qualifications for the position include : Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or IT certification in related fields from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. 5 years of experience as a system administrator or technical support (preferred). Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills. Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft 365.
