57160BR Systems Specialist General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Poway California Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. Under general supervision with on-going review, this position participates in researching, analyzing, developing and documenting detailed requirements for checklists, training materials and other procedures and reports. Plans, coordinates, and assists in efforts of a small team to complete projects. This position involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor emails to provide status of work and respond accordingly in a timely manner. Accurately enters data in the group's Check Log (excel) and tracks workflow into and out of the department constantly. Perform audits on the Check log weekly to confirm accuracy and completeness. Reporting and status tracking daily. iSOW metrics review daily. KPI reporting quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. Help coordinate team meetings and team support as needed or required. Investigates and resolves problem areas and participates with engineering to document technical solutions. Assists to Read, interpret and analyze engineering source material such as engineering evaluate, select, apply, and/or adapt engineering modifications. Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required. Job Qualifications Typically requires an Associates degree in a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education. Must possess the ability to develop, acquire and interpret technical data. The ability to understand new concepts and apply them in an evolving environment. Good organization skills. The ability to identify issues and recommend solutions to problems. Basic analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately analyze, document, and report recommendations. General knowledge of computer operations and applications. Ability to work both independently and in a team and environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required. Familiar with Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance is required.
