Job Description

Security Clearance Required:
A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance
•This position does not provide a telework option. Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Ridgecrest, CA. CRL provides a signing bonus and potential relocation assistance for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position is a system administrator for Government networks. The candidate will work directly with the program offices Information Technology and Cybersecurity teams to securely build, operate, and maintain government networks.
The candidate will:
Deploy, manage, and maintain virtualized infrastructure, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) Plan, deploy, and administer secure cloud-based environments within secure clouds Perform system administration, vulnerability management, and STIG compliance on Windows and Linux operating systems Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks Safeguard, account for, and operate COMSEC materials Operate and maintain cross domain solutions (CDS) and one-way data diodes
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Required Experience:
Candidate must have at least four (4) years of System Administrator experience.
Certification:
Candidate must meet the 451-Intermediate System Administrator qualification standards of DoD Manual 8140.03.
Desired Experience:
Experience developing and managing secure cloud environments. Experience deploying and managing virtualized resources and hypervisors. Experience deploying and managing CDS and one-way data diodes. Experience as a Local Element (LE) or handling COMSEC/cryptographic equipment under DoD guidelines. Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment. Special access program experience is a plus.
Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions:
Experience cannot be substituted for education.
Security Clearance Required:
A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Location:
On-site Ridgecrest, CA. Telework is not offered.
Pay Range:
$80,000-$135,000. Salary will be set based on experience, education, and contractual requirements. This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of CRL's compensation package.
