Job Description HYBRID Our client is seeking a VP, Telecom Engineering Services to lead an 80-90 person global engineering organization spanning the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Philippines, and Vietnam. The VP will focus on improving operational efficiency, profitability, customer relationships, and organizational scalability while helping drive strategic expansion. Duties of the
Role:
- Provide executive leadership for all Telecom Engineering Services functions including Design Services, Project Management, Field & Engineering, Consulting, PMO, and Telecom Sales.
- Lead a globally distributed team of approximately 80-90 employees across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Philippines, and Vietnam.
- Manage a leadership team consisting of Operations Managers, PMO leadership, UK leadership, and Sales leadership while developing the next generation of leaders within the organization.
- Drive operational improvements, resource utilization, delivery efficiency, and project profitability across all engineering services functions.
- Establish strategic direction for the Telecom Engineering Services division and translate company objectives into actionable business initiatives.
- Own divisional budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, margin optimization, and headcount planning.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Support commercial growth initiatives including scaling the U.S. telecom engineering sales organization and identifying opportunities within emerging markets such as middle-mile networks, data centers, utilities, and software services.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to navigate industry changes and position for continued growth and diversification.
- Ensure quality, consistency, compliance, SOP development, and best practices are maintained across global operations.
Pay:

- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within telecommunications engineering, telecom operations, engineering consulting, or project delivery organizations.
- Experience leading large, globally distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.
- Strong telecommunications engineering background, ideally with FTTx, FTTH, OSP design, telecom delivery, permitting, drafting, or fiber network deployments.
- Demonstrated success managing managers, directors, and multi-layered leadership teams.
- Experience owning P&L, budgets, forecasting, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Experience leading telecom engineering services organizations with 75+ employees.
- Middle-mile, long-haul fiber, broadband, or data center infrastructure experience.
- Utility engineering, power delivery, or multi-utility services experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
