Job Description

Take on a crucial role as a Wireless Engineer III, where you'll architect, implement, and maintain automation workflows for a complex, multi-platform infrastructure. Bring your expertise with Linux systems, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline deployment and operations, while also supporting essential database environments such as Cassandra and Oracle. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with Ansible (playbooks/roles) and Terraform (modules/state management) Hands-on Linux systems administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or equivalent) Practical experience with Cassandra and Oracle databases (operational support, querying, troubleshooting) Proficiency using AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude), while validating all results independently Scripting ability (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and tooling Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and infrastructure as code principles Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills Desired Skills & Experience Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi networking (SSIDs, access points, wireless protocols) Experience with other config management/IaC tools (Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation) Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and observability/monitoring tools What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 45% Automation Development (Ansible, Terraform, scripting) 25% Linux System Administration & Troubleshooting 15% Database Support (Cassandra, Oracle) 15% Collaboration, Documentation & Cross-team Delivery Daily Responsibilities Design and develop automation playbooks and infrastructure modules Administer Linux systems and support operational tasks Maintain and troubleshoot Cassandra and Oracle database environments Integrate automation with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git) Document code, processes, and handoffs for long-term maintainability Use AI code assistants to improve efficiency and code quality, while retaining ownership and oversight Collaborate across teams to deliver solutions and troubleshoot failures/configuration issues
