Job Type:
Independent Contractor Role . Expected part-time commitment of 10-25 hours per week with the opportunity to grow (quickly!)
Compensation Hourly Rate:
$100.00-$150.00 per hour depending on license and experience
Drive Time:
$20.00 per hour for travel exceeding 30 minutes from Lakewood, CO Job Summary We are seeking a licensed and experienced Electrician to lead all electrical installations for our custom and pre-fabricated saunas across the Front Range and Mountain regions of Colorado. This is a specialized role focused on high-quality, compliant electrical work for high-amperage appliances, technical commissioning, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities Electrical Installation & Commissioning Circuit Installation:
Install new 240V circuits, necessary wiring, and conduit runs from the main service panel to the final sauna location, ensuring compliance with all local and state codes.
Sub-Panel Installation:
Occasionally install new sub-panels when required due to limited space or existing capacity at the customer's main electrical service panel.
Appliance Wiring:
Professionally hook up and terminate wiring for sauna heaters, controls, and lighting systems (training provided).
Testing & Programming:
Perform comprehensive testing, commissioning, and programming of advanced sauna heaters, ensuring safe and optimal functionality.
Client & Administrative Duties Wi-Fi App Setup:
Assist customers with setting up and troubleshooting the Wi-Fi application for their sauna heater controls.
Field Reporting:
Complete field reports, including material usage, time logs, and final job completion reports accurately and promptly.
Quality & Documentation:
Take final finish videos and photos to document project completion and quality standards.
Travel:
Current driver's license required; drive to job sites across the region (Front Range and Metro mostly, but also occasionally Mountain communities).
Permitting & Inspection:
Secure and manage all necessary electrical permits with local jurisdictions when required by project scope or requested by the client, facilitating and attending final inspections.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Current, Active, Master Electrician License in Colorado (MUST HAVE).
Required:
Deep expertise in residential 240V electrical systems, heavy-gauge wiring, and panel modifications. Expertise in 208, 3-phase electrical is a huge plus.
Required:
Problem-solving skills to manage complex, site-specific electrical challenges.
Required:
High Standards & Resilience - exceptional attention to detail, highly organized work habits, and a proactive, resilient attitude to overcome site challenges and unexpected issues.
Required:
Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record, current
COI Required:
Superior communication and customer service skills, with a professional and clean appearance.
Preferred:
Residence in the Denver Metro area is highly preferred for operational efficiency.
