Atlantic Smart Technologies is a growing Low Voltage and Smart Home technology company located in Jupiter, FL. We specialize in high-end residential technology solutions, including smart home automation, audio/video, networking, surveillance, lighting control, and more. We are professional, innovative, and customer-focused, and we take pride in delivering high-quality installations and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Smart Home / Audio Video / Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys working with technology, troubleshooting complex systems, completing quality installations, and interacting with clients. The right candidate will have a strong technical foundation and the ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, program, service, and troubleshoot residential smart home and audio/video systems Install, terminate, label, and test low-voltage wiring for audio, video, networking, control, security, and other technology systems Perform service calls and accurately diagnose and resolve system issues Program and configure home automation and control systems Install and configure televisions, distributed audio systems, home theaters, speakers, amplifiers, networking equipment, cameras, and related technology Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize residential Wi-Fi and networking systems Perform system commissioning, testing, and final client walkthroughs Read and interpret wiring diagrams, system designs, schematics, and project documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, contractors, project managers, and team members Properly document completed work, system changes, troubleshooting, and service issues Assist with system design, equipment selection, and project planning when needed Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, and service for installed systems Stay current with new technologies, products, and manufacturer platforms
Qualifications:
Previous experience in residential AV, smart home automation, low-voltage, electrical, networking, or a related technical field is preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Solid understanding of residential audio/video and control systems Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, IP devices, and network troubleshooting Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, system designs, and technical documentation Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical installation work Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Professional appearance and excellent communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and manufacturer platforms
Preferred Experience:
Experience with any of the following manufacturers, platforms, or technologies is a plus: Savant Control4 Lutron Sonos Sonance Sony Samsung Denon / Marantz Residential networking platforms Surveillance and camera systems Distributed audio Home theater systems Lighting and shade control Structured wiring and networking Experience with other residential technology platforms is also valuable.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-end residential technology projects and gain experience across multiple areas of the smart home, AV, networking, security, and automation industries. Experience is preferred — but attitude matters. Although we prefer candidates with previous industry experience, we are willing to train the right person.
