We design, deploy, secure and support business networks, enterprise Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, surveillance, access control, VoIP and audiovisual systems. We are looking for a hands-on Network and Microsoft 365 Administrator who can take ownership of production networks, optimize business-critical Wi-Fi systems and troubleshoot complex performance problems. Position Overview This is not an entry-level help desk or residential networking position. Candidates must have professional experience managing networks in commercial, hospitality, multifamily or other business environments. The ideal candidate must understand how traffic moves across switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs and wireless networks. You should be able to identify bottlenecks and determine whether an issue is related to wireless conditions, switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, cabling, firewall policies, applications or endpoints. You will also administer Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, user access, security policies and device management. Responsibilities Configure and manage business-class switches, routers, firewalls and wireless systems Tune multi-access-point Wi-Fi networks for coverage, capacity, roaming and performance Analyze wireless channels, interference, signal strength, noise, airtime utilization and client behavior Adjust access-point placement, channel width, transmit power and minimum data rates Troubleshoot TCP/IP traffic, switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs and firewall policies Create and manage VLANs, subnets, network segmentation and inter-VLAN communication Analyze packet captures, traffic flows, logs and network-performance data Diagnose latency, packet loss, broadcast traffic, bandwidth limitations and intermittent connectivity Configure QoS and traffic-management policies for voice, video and business-critical applications Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams Manage Entra ID users, groups, permissions, authentication and Conditional Access Configure Microsoft Intune policies, device compliance and application deployments Support Group Policy and on-premises Active Directory when required Monitor and maintain client endpoints, servers and network infrastructure Handle escalated Tier 2 support requests and network-related incidents Assist with new-client onboarding, network assessments and infrastructure upgrades Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations and client documentation Work with Envigo's field installation team during deployments and service calls Clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations to clients and internal staff Required Qualifications Three or more years of professional networking, systems administration or MSP experience Experience supporting production networks in commercial or business environments Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs and firewall policies Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network traffic Experience diagnosing congestion, packet loss, latency, switching loops and broadcast-related issues Experience deploying and tuning multi-access-point business Wi-Fi networks Strong understanding of channels, channel width, transmit power, interference, roaming and access-point placement Experience using packet-analysis and network-diagnostic tools Experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Intune Experience supporting Windows workstations and business applications Ability to independently investigate problems and determine the root cause Strong documentation, communication and client-service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work on-site throughout South Florida when required Preferred Qualifications Experience working for a managed service provider Experience supporting networks across multiple locations Experience with controller-managed wireless networks Experience conducting wireless surveys and interpreting survey results Experience with Wireshark or similar packet-analysis tools Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, Aruba, CWNP or comparable industry certifications Experience supporting VoIP, surveillance and access-control networks Familiarity with structured cabling, racks, patch panels and network-testing equipment What We Are Looking For We want someone who understands why a network is experiencing a problem—not someone who only reboots equipment or replaces access points. The right candidate can investigate network traffic, identify the root cause of performance issues and make informed configuration changes. This person takes ownership, communicates clearly, documents their work and follows through until the problem is fully resolved. Why Join Envigo Networks? Work with business-class networking and Microsoft cloud technologies Gain hands-on experience across IT, networking, cybersecurity and physical security Participate in complete projects from initial design through installation and ongoing support Work with an experienced team serving commercial, hospitality and multifamily clients throughout South Florida Join a growing company where technical ability, accountability and initiative are recognized
