The successful candidate will help ensure system availability, network reliability, data security, and efficient day-to-day technology operations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple technical priorities. Responsibilities Install, configure, monitor, and maintain servers, operating systems, and business applications. Administer user accounts, access permissions, and security policies. Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot server, network, software, and connectivity issues. Perform routine system updates, patch management, and maintenance. Manage data backups and assist with disaster recovery procedures. Support cloud services, virtualization platforms, and enterprise IT systems. Maintain system configurations, technical documentation, and IT asset records. Implement security controls and follow established IT policies. Collaborate with technical support staff, developers, and vendors to resolve infrastructure issues. Recommend improvements to system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or a related IT role. Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Familiarity with user management, access controls, and system security. Experience with backup procedures, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methods. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize technical tasks. Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services. Knowledge of virtualization technologies and automated system administration. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery planning. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft or CompTIA Server+, are an advantage.
