Program Overview Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period. About The Role Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC)
  • 3 EOM.
This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. Systems Administrators provide various project management, technical, and administrative support for assets employed at approved global locations and support the development of policies and procedures. They must possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of the Government's systems' hardware and software. Duties include but are not limited to: Performs tier one and two network and systems support in accordance with the

Provides support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systems Ensures incidents and change requests reflecting work are routinely updated to comply with service level agreements Maintains file servers, network access, documents, analyzes and troubleshoots systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance Monitors and controls one or more mid-range application servers Studies program operating instructions to determine equipment setup and operations Monitors the operation of assigned applications and storage devices and determines the point of hardware or software failure Troubleshoots and configures systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunction Coordinates with software systems engineering or applications developers as necessary to correct errors Maintains operating records such as machine performance and production reports Installs operating system software, patches, and upgrades Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues Configures, optimizes, fine-tunes, and monitoring operating system software and hardware Performs system backups and recovery Conducts server builds Completes troubleshooting issues related to infrastructure including VDI components Develops and maintains SOPs for the infrastructure including VDI Environment Troubleshoots and proactively resolves technical issues for individual users Installs, configures and maintains customer desktops and laptop PCs, mobile devices and peripherals, such as printers Identifies and removes end-of-life and end-of-support equipment and performs data migration to new machines
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
BS + 8 years of experience
OR MS + 6
years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experience Active DoD TS/SCI clearance DoD 8570 IAT II Certification A minimum of 3-year related experience as a Systems Administrator #

Details Target Salary Range:
$112,000
  • $179,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
