Overview Pacific Rim Defense is searching for a Network and Computer Systems Analyst to join our dynamic IT team!

Duties:

Operate and maintain the DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), including scanners, plugins, and network monitoring components Perform vulnerability scans, network discovery, and compliance checks in support of continuous monitoring requirements and review and update VRAM and CMRS results. Monitor networks, servers, and security logs to identify threats, alerts, and anomalous activity Apply security hardening using DISA STIGs/SRGs and SCAP benchmarks for Windows, Linux, network devices, and security appliances Support patching, vulnerability remediation, and IAVM compliance efforts, coordinating with system owners and cybersecurity staff Assist with cybersecurity incident detection, response, and reporting activities in accordance with established procedures Submit system and network changes through formal change control processes, ensuring proper documentation and approval Provide RMF deliverables assisting with security control assessments, audits, and compliance verification activities for Annual Security Reviews (ASR) and RMF Use Cases using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) Contribute to monthly operational and cybersecurity status reporting, including system health and vulnerability Participate in technical meetings and working groups supporting system security, availability, and continuous improvement

Desired Qualifications:

Computing Environment (CE) certifications for supported Windows, Linux, or Cisco platforms Experience with ACAS (Nessus), STIG Viewer, SCAP, VRAM, and enterprise networks Experience with RMF, configuration management, IAVM processes, and LogRhythm Join us to be part of an innovative team committed to maintaining resilient infrastructure that empowers organizational growth while ensuring top-tier security standards!

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
