Job Description

Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, program, and commission complex automated systems. This role plays a critical part in delivering custom automation solutions from concept through installation and startup at customer sites. The ideal candidate brings strong Allen Bradley PLC expertise, a solid background in industrial automation, and the flexibility to travel extensively to support system integration and commissioning.

This is a high-impact role offering exposure to cutting-edge automation technologies, diverse industries, and opportunities for professional growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control systems architecture for custom automated equipment.

Program, configure, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs and related hardware.

Develop HMI applications, motion control solutions, and network configurations.

Interpret electrical schematics and ensure proper panel design and field wiring integration.

Support system debug, validation, and commissioning activities both in-house and at customer facilities.

Travel to customer sites for installation, startup, troubleshooting, and technical support.

Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and customers to ensure systems meet functional and performance requirements.

Provide technical documentation including control narratives, I/O lists, and test procedures.

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and standardization efforts.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum six (6) years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.

Strong proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000).Experience with HMI development and industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, etc.).Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
