$19- 22 POSITION SUMMARY The Tank Systems Specialist plays a central role in maintaining the operational readiness and professional presentation of the company's fuel and propane tank assets. This position is responsible for the full lifecycle management of tank systems
- from assembly and deployment to return, refurbishment, and redeployment
- while upholding rigorous standards for safety, quality, documentation, and customer-facing appearance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Assembly & Maintenance Assemble fuel and propane tank systems to meet company quality and safety standards. Clean, refurbish, and properly label all tanks and portable units returned from job sites. Ensure all equipment meets company appearance and operational standards prior to redeployment. Inventory & Asset Management Inventory and track all fuel and propane tanks, pumps, and related equipment. Maintain accurate inventory of tanks, pumps, and parts at the facility. Organize and track parts inventory to ensure availability and operational efficiency. Document all equipment placed with customers, including serial numbers, lease agreements, and location tracking. Maintain accurate records of all company-owned tank assets and their current status. Support efficient operations by keeping equipment ready for immediate deployment.QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and service equipment. Basic mechanical and plumbing knowledge. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and maintain thorough, consistent records. Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking, documentation, and reporting. Demonstrates essential abilities including collaboration, communication, customer focus, time management, and ability to work independently.PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Maintain a high standard of organization, cleanliness, and professionalism in all equipment and work areas. Take full ownership of tank condition, readiness, and presentation. Ensure accuracy and consistency across all documentation and tracking systems. Represent the company professionally in all customer-facing interactions and deliveries.REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof. Requires valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements, a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card This role involves a combination of indoor shop work and outdoor yard responsibilities. The position requires frequent handling of equipment, parts, and tools.Occasionally exposed or required to:
Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) Noisy conditions Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards, requiring utilization of appropriate safety measures May be required to work at varying heights Lift 51- 70 lbs.
