Network Administrator SMS Data Products Group, Inc. United States, Kansas, Mcconnell Air Force Base Aug 28, 2026 SMS is hiring a Network Administrator, Mid to support our Base Infrastructure (BIM) contract at McConnell AFB, KS. This position will provide Network Operations Center (NOC) support from forward-deployed locations ensuring continuity of NOC operations and distributed network management capabilities. - Serves as backup NOC operations capability providing redundancy for centralized NOC functions
- Monitors assigned network infrastructure and systems from remote locations
- Coordinates with primary NOC personnel ensuring seamless handoff of monitoring and management responsibilities
- Provides NOC management decision-making support during primary NOC disruptions or contingency situations
- Performs network monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting activities independently
- Maintains proficiency with all NOC tools, processes, and procedures
- Supports distributed operations model enabling resilient network management during crisis or disaster recovery scenarios
- Coordinates with on-site base personnel for localized network issues
- Ensures continuous network monitoring coverage and operational awareness
- Participates in NOC training and readiness activities
- Maintains secure communications and coordination channels with primary NOC Required Qualifications Possesses Bachelor's degree in information technology, network engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of Network Operations Center or Network Administration experience Cisco CCNA requred CompTIA Security+ required DoD Secret security clearance required SMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
