Job Description

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist in Monroe, Louisiana to support our fast-growing Voice (MSS) division.

The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) serves as a key member of the Customer Operations team, providing exceptional customer service and operational support to ensure efficient branch operations and a positive customer experience. This position is responsible for supporting multiple operational functions, including customer communications, order processing, scheduling, purchasing, billing support, inventory coordination, shipping and receiving, and general administrative activities.

The Customer Service Specialist is expected to be highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Customer ServiceServe as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors.

Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line telephone system.

Respond to customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.

Deliver exceptional customer service while representing MCA's Service First culture.

Customer OperationsProvide operational support in one or more of the following functional areas based on business needs:

Order ManagementPurchasingShipping and ReceivingInventory ManagementScheduling and DispatchBilling and InvoicingAccounts Receivable support and CollectionsService AdministrationAdministrative SupportMaintain accurate customer records and operational documentation.

Process transactions and documentation within company systems.

Prepare reports, correspondence, and operational documents as required.

Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.

Ensure operational records are complete and accurate.

Team SupportCollaborate with Sales, Service, Warehouse, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments.

Cross-train in multiple operational functions to provide branch coverage.

Assist with onboarding and training of new team members as assigned.

Support operational initiatives, process improvements, acquisitions, and special projects.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in customer service, office administration, or customer operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidential and proprietary information.

Demonstrated professionalism and customer service skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
