Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM, with overtime opportunities Job Description TRS Craft Services has an immediate opening for an experienced Equipment Service Technician based out of our client's facility in Prairieville, Louisiana . This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial and construction equipment in both shop and field environments. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience working independently while delivering exceptional customer service. Equipment Serviced Aerial lifts Forklifts Compressors Generators Welding machines General industrial and construction equipment Responsibilities Perform major repairs and preventative maintenance on customer-owned and company-owned equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues Complete work orders, parts requests, billing documentation, and warranty paperwork Communicate with customers regarding equipment status, repairs, and service recommendations Assist other technicians with advanced troubleshooting and technical support Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and service vehicle Follow all company and client safety, environmental, and operational procedures Plan and organize work assignments with minimal supervision Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required 3-5 years of related equipment repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints Valid driver's license with a good driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Equipment Experience Aerial lifts Forklifts Compressors Welding machines Industrial construction equipment Physical Requirements Lift, carry, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks Stand and work for extended periods Work outdoors and in varied weather conditions Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight travel as needed Tools Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools Specialized and larger tools will be provided Apply Today Dianna Adams 832.206.8434 Dianna.adams@trscraftservices.com
