Job Requirements Hanover, MA Top Secret/SCI Full Scope Polygraph Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Razor is looking for a Senior System Administrator to provide senior-level administration, troubleshooting, and engineering support for complex, mission-critical U.S. Government IT environments. This role supports enterprise infrastructure operations while resolving complex server, application, software integration, and system architecture issues.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise IT systems Provide advanced support across client/server, storage, network, and related infrastructure Configure and manage UNIX, Windows, and other applicable operating systems Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex technical and infrastructure issues Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and capacity planning Analyze escalated issues and provide detailed technical recommendations Install and maintain operating system software and system enhancements Configure and maintain network components Support system and mission architecture design activities Analyze and resolve complex server hardware, application, and software integration problems Evaluate system administration dependencies within Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments Provide senior technical support and guidance to Government and internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
15+ years of System Administrator experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity Advanced Windows and UNIX/Linux system administration experience Experience resolving complex server hardware, application, and software integration issues Knowledge of system and mission architecture Understanding of system administration interdependencies within SOA environments Advanced infrastructure troubleshooting and problem-solving experience Experience with system optimization, resource utilization, and capacity planning
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments Enterprise infrastructure architecture experience Advanced server, storage, and networking expertise Experience supporting large-scale classified IT environments Technical leadership experience
