Description:
2HB is seeking a candidate who shall be responsible for providing support for a large-scale Linux system including installation of
COTS/GOTS/FOSS
software, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the compute, network, memory, and storage system components. In addition, the System Administrator shall maintain the system security integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Required Skills:
Fifteen (15) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Experience using the Linux CLI Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python Experience in performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of
COTS/GOTS/FOSS
software in a large-scale Linux cluster environment General technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components Experience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solution Familiarity using Splunk for ingesting, indexing, searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data Experience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution Experience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environments Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and Ansible Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures Experience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and Nagios Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
