Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. Description Captivation Software is looking for a senior level systems engineer who will be responsible for the documentation of all phases of the design, implementation, and maintenance for the deployment of new systems or upgrading current systems to FS sites (e.g. drafting preliminary design reviews, mission transition plans).
Requirements Security Clearance:
Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.IAT Level II Certification Required Skills:
Deep understanding of multiple communications technologies, virtualization, systems architecture, and infrastructure for IT systems and SIGINT platforms Proficient in designing, interpreting, and modifying System and Network Engineering Drawings (Visio, Adobe) Expertise in system and network administration across diverse platforms, including Linux and Windows environments Extensive experience in network and data processing system integration, hardware and software configuration, deployment, and sustainment Understanding/experience in Cisco networking, including routers, switches, and security protocols Skilled in network and data processing system integration, including rack and stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices The ability to create detailed system documentation and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (JIRA and Confluence) Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint This position is open for direct hires only.
