The Work

Position will be located at Ramstein AFB in Germany. The successful candidate will report to the

EUCOM C2BMC O&M

Site Lead and to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO). The candidate is responsible for providing technical support as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all local hardware, software and network issues for the

EUCOM C2BMC

systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. This position requires the ability to work in a team environment on multiple tasks that involve interfacing with the Warfighters to provide second level technical support, providing on-site troubleshooting of all C2BMC assets at all EUCOM sites, and interfacing with the C2BMC Command Center (CCC) team for all escalated issues. Candidate will also perform all software installs and upgrades to the C2BMC systems assigned to their AOR. Candidate will be responsible for the sustainment of all Ramstein

physical inventory including spares and COMSEC devices and provide accurate documentation of all inventory movement.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A final secret clearance is required
  • Experience in system and/or network administration that include the following (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco and Juniper)
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software components such as ADSI, CDS and TDACS
  • Understand the physical security requirements for open and closed storage of COMSEC materials
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide advanced troubleshooting on COMSEC devices including contacting technical resources from the manufacturer
  • Effective communications and ability to brief technical system/network issues and overall system reporting to program management and customer leadership using appropriate tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
  • TS/SCI is desired
  • Previous experience maintaining C2BMC systems and/or a Missile Defense Agency background
  • Scripting experience on Linux, UNIX or Windows servers and Windows Workstation
  • Strong understanding of Two-Factor Authentication administration
  • Experienced in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
  • Candidate must be a self-starting problem solver with the ability to work with military and civilian personnel in a potential high-stress situation with limited supervision

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
