Linux System Engineer
Linux Admin/EngineerProgram Description:
Our Client is looking for Linux professionals to provide 24/7 coverage to a system.
Day to
Day Responsibilities:
This activity provides for IntelliEarth Integrator (IEI) and Enterprise Services (ES) systems engineering support and sustainment at two Relay Ground Stations (RGS). The Contractor will provide on-site staff to manage the daily operations and maintenance activities in support of the IEI and ES systems. The Subcontractor shall coordinate with the Contractor on all Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) or Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) hardware or software modifications which change the configuration baseline. The Subcontractor shall protect, store, and manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government Furnished Information (GFI) at the government sites, contractor's facility and during integration and test.
Required Skills:
Experience with Linux Systems (maintenance, monitoring, support)
Experience editing scripts ( Python/Groovy) in a Linux Environment
Supporting Operational up-time
Experience with deploying and managing docker containers, through but not limited to, Docker and Kubernetes and PostGress
