Summary:
The Senior Business Intelligence Applications System Administrator role is accountable for system administration of enterprise business intelligence applications used to provide data, reporting and analytics to the MaineHealth healthcare system. The scope of responsibility includes application installation, upgrade planning and support, license management, user provisioning, security model set up and maintenance, end-user customer support, content lifecycle management, utilization monitoring, performing application audits, remediating deficiencies, ensuring compliance with all applicable IT policies and vendor licensing agreements, event detection, incident and problem resolution. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Bachelors degree in healthcare informatics, information science, computer science, computer engineering, business or healthcare preferred or equivalent experience.
License/Certifications:
Currently certified or able to successfully complete all training requirements, within 2-4 months, as defined by the business intelligence application vendor and as defined by MaineHealth policy. For Cogito suite system administrators, able to complete requirements as documented in the 'Epic Environment and Support Security Standards as required to gain appropriate Epic or business intelligence application environment access.
Experience:
7+ years of business intelligence applications system administration experience preferred; 7+ years of system administration experience in one or more business intelligence applications. Examples include SAP Business Objects, Epic Cogito Suite, Power BI, or QlikView preferred; Experience working with business intelligence applications in a large enterprise data warehousing environment preferred; Experience with MS SQL or equivalent required; Experience with business intelligence applications required; 5+ years healthcare experience preferred; Demonstrated experience in producing technical documentation. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $83,324.80 to $112,736.00 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
