About A2-Ai A2-Ai is a technology and scientific services provider focused on supporting science and patients throughout drug development. We deliver end-to-end technical solutions to our clients, including technology consulting, scalable cloud computing platforms, and AI solutions. Our teams combine scientific expertise with modern technology to provide secure, reliable, and high-quality solutions tailored to client needs. Position Overview The IT Administrator plays a hands-on role in supporting the internal IT and customer-facing systems, infrastructure, devices, and user access that keep the A2-Ai team secure, productive, and connected. Manage users, access, permissions, and core IT services across A2-Ai's corporate technology environment. Procure, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops and laptops, primarily macOS with some Windows systems, while supporting the broader endpoint lifecycle. Work across a modern technology stack that includes Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Atlassian products, Okta, Active Directory, desktop management, and public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This is an onsite position based in our Ann Arbor office.
Specific Responsibilities:
Onboard and offboard employees and other users across IT systems, including account provisioning, permissions, application access, and device setup. Manage and resolve support requests through ticketing systems for internal employees and external customers, escalating or coordinating issues as needed. Maintain office networks, endpoints, conference-room technology, and other core workplace IT systems. Administer and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Atlassian products, Okta, Active Directory, and other SaaS and identity platforms. Support desktop and endpoint management, software deployment, patching, security controls, asset lifecycle management, and related operational processes. Participate in cloud and infrastructure initiatives involving AWS, Azure, automation, identity, security, and systems administration. Support technology and AI governance efforts, including the responsible adoption, administration, and oversight of AI tools and services. This role offers strong potential for professional growth and the opportunity to develop broad technical experience. Depending on experience, interests, and demonstrated capabilities, the successful candidate can take on increasingly complex responsibilities across cloud infrastructure, security, automation, systems administration, and emerging technology areas over time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus. Professional IT administration or support experience is valued. Candidates with strong hands-on experience gained through internships, academic labs, help-desk roles, personal projects, or comparable environments will also be considered. Strong foundation in core IT concepts, including user support, networking, identity and access management, endpoints, and basic security practices. Experience with, or practical exposure to, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Atlassian products, Okta, Active Directory, and desktop or endpoint management is a plus. Experience with, or interest in, public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, automation, security, or AI governance is a plus. Organized, dependable, procedure-focused, curious, and comfortable learning new technologies and taking ownership of problems.
