We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Electronic Services Fraud Specialist position available at our Home Office in Auburn Hills .
Position Purpose:
Responsible for researching and resolving card fraud cases and disputes and decisioning fraud cases to be distributed to the ES team. Assists with filing chargebacks, SAFE reporting, reviewing representment documentation, denying member fraud cases and removing member credits. Completes related reports and maintains tracking for card fraud and dispute cases. Provides support for branches and members by phone and email. Performs other related clerical duties as required. Job Duties (include but not limited to): Researches fraud cases and disputes with members and merchants to determine what action can be taken with the case. This includes contacting merchants and members to obtain additional information and documentation by phone, email, and regular mail. Assists in reviewing representment documentation as needed to determine the outcome of a case and makes GL and member account adjustments as needed. Calls members to decline fraud cases as needed and removes member credits. Maintains tracking for card fraud and dispute cases. Reads and comprehends all rules, regulations, and updates that come in from VISA, Mastercard, CO-OP Network, and other industry sources. Maintains a working knowledge of credit cards, debit cards, ATMs, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Remote Deposit to assist with members, and branch phone calls.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent. Thorough knowledge of card processing procedures and requirements. One to two years of related experience required.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and public relations skills. Able to analyze accounts. Attentive to detail. Well organized.
