Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Information Technology Staff member to support our resort's technology infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our IT systems, supporting staff with technical issues, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our digital operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving hospitality environment while utilizing your expertise in a broad range of IT disciplines. Duties Manage and support the resort's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases. Provide technical support for staff and guests, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly. Oversee network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect sensitive data. Maintain and administer core systems including Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft SQL Server. Assist with software implementation projects, including SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira, and remote access solutions. Support network engineering tasks involving Cisco routers, LAN/WAN configurations, DHCP, DNS, and network infrastructure upgrades. Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives to ensure operational resilience. Collaborate with vendors on hardware procurement, software licensing, and service agreements to optimize IT assets. Qualifications Proven experience managing IT support functions within a hospitality or similar environment. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for infrastructure management. Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Linux system administration. Familiarity with ITIL best practices for service management and incident response. Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and related productivity tools. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience in managing IT teams or projects. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with staff at all levels. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues quickly while maintaining organizational efficiency. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including network security protocols and information security standards.
