Full-time Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth and secure operations of all technology functions and equipment, including company computer systems and networks, Internet operations, telecommunications, mobile communications and more.- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and servers for smooth operation and efficient performance.
- Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Managing network servers and technology tools
- Setting up accounts and workstations
- Upgrading systems with new releases and models
- Developing and maintaining system recovery protocol in the event of data loss
- Implementing and enforcing security protocols and backup strategies
- Maintaining internal documentation about system configurations, maintenance, and upgrades
- Providing technical support and guidance to users
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements
- Resolving problems reported by end users
- Manage user and system accounts, permissions, and access controls across the network.
- Maintain and manage all support and licensing contracts for all IT-related vendors.
- Manage and support all phone and internet contracts and systems.
- Stay abreast of changes in technology and recommend purchases of technology that will increase business efficiency, meet budgetary goals and facilitate the achievement of company goals.
- Communicate with other departments in the company about business needs.
- Provide input to the IT team for the company's technology budget. Effectively communicate relevant IT-related information to superiors. Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer or technology-related field, or equivalent business experience.
- CompTIA A+, Net+, Microsoft MCSE Certification
- Experience with Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 all highly beneficial
- Borroughs retains the right to train all new and incumbent personnel. Qualifications
- Outstanding knowledge of computer software, hardware, networking, computer security and technology risk management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products, and to take initiative in the development and completion of projects.
- Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
