As a Systems Administrator, you'll support and improve the hardware, software, operational networks and applications that enable safe, reliable Generation operation. You will work directly with operations teams, technology partners, vendors, and project stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions and strengthen system performance.
What You'll Do:
Provide technical support and maintenance for hardware, software, and operational technology systems, including inventory, installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation . Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple technology areas, with working knowledge of PCs, networks, virtual server infrastructure, backup systems, and enterprise storage environments. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize disruption and ensure reliable system performance. Contribute to mid- and long-range planning by recommending and implementing technology improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. Help ensure standards, firewall requirements, cybersecurity controls, data integrity, and regulatory obligations are met through reviews and testing. Lead O & M and capital projects, collaborate with user groups, and facilitate training by coordinating resources, establishing timelines, collaborating with stakeholders from planning through implementation.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field of study AND four or more years of related experience required. OR Bachelor's degree PLUS seven or more years of related experience required. How to
Stand Out:
Experience with implementing and maintaining virtual infrastructure. Experience supporting industrial operational technology, generating facilities, control systems, monitoring systems, or non-corporate networks. Experience with cybersecurity controls, hardware asset management, and vendor coordination. Ability to work independently and effectively in an environment where priorities can change at a moment's notice.
Special Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Occasional after hours support plus out of town travel to other company sites is required. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement after the employee successfully completes training and demonstrates the ability to independently perform assigned responsibilities. This arrangement is subject to business needs, role requirements, performance expectations, and manager approval. This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $82,000 - $102,000. Compensation offered will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
