Job Description
A growing, employee-owned organization is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to join its Information Technology team in Granite City, IL. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online administration and development, along with experience using Power Platform and related Microsoft 365 technologies. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users to translate business requirements into functional, secure, and scalable SharePoint solutions. Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SharePoint Online environments.
- Design and optimize SharePoint site architecture.
- Manage hub sites, communication sites, and team sites.
- Manage site collections, permissions, and governance policies.
- Configure sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and web parts.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Support SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
- Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services.
- Develop and support solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Automate business processes with Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Support Microsoft Graph API and
REST API
integrations.- Integrate SharePoint with Teams, OneDrive, and Power BI.
- Maintain data security, compliance, and lifecycle standards.
- Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders.
- Provide end-user support, documentation, and training.
- Maintain technical standards and best practices. Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on SharePoint Online administration and development experience.
- Strong SharePoint site architecture experience.
- Experience with hub, communication, and team sites.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and
HTML/CSS.
- Strong Power Automate and Power Apps experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Azure Functions or cloud integrations preferred.
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge.
- Experience integrating SharePoint with Teams and OneDrive.
- Power BI reporting/embedding experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of information architecture, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certifications preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users. Compensation & Benefits
