THE POSITION

HPC Linux Systems Administrator, Stennis Space Center The HPC Linux Systems Administrator shall be responsible for General system administration for large HPC cluster, maintaining system health, responding to customer requests, planning for and executing system upgrades, and maintaining security posture to keep systems on the customer network.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support that addresses customers' business needs related to their HPC systems. Serve as a trusted advisor by building and maintaining effective customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain expertise in emerging technologies, industry trends, and relevant market domains. Operate successfully in highly complex technical disciplines and exercise independent judgment when developing methods, techniques, and criteria to achieve objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

TS/SCI Clearance CompTIA Sec+ Certification, CompTIA Linux+ Certification 10+ Years in HPC; Linux Systems Administration experience Requires 12+ years of professional experience and a master's degree in computer science or a related field, or 15+ years of relevant professional experience without a master's degree. CompTIA Sec+ Certification, CompTIA Linux+ Able to work independently to troubleshoot the HPC system, to plan and manage upgrades, to mitigate security vulnerabilities and to provide knowledge transfer to the client system administrators. RedHat Certification ( RHCE or RHCA) desirable Experience working in data centers desirable
