00 Per Hr Join our team as a Senior Server Engineer in Jersey City, NJ, on a contract basis. You will architect and support a production server environment, focusing on Windows systems. The role requires extensive experience with server technologies and proactive performance monitoring. Description Provide expert-level support and strategy for Windows server environments. Engage in performance monitoring using specialized tools. Administer and maintain Windows infrastructure and applications. Participate in planning and implementing new projects. Ensure system reliability and high availability. Collaborate with vendors and global teams to maintain standards. Manage disaster recovery and business continuity. Key Responsibilities Monitor virtual environments for capacity and workload, implementing necessary changes. Support and build failover clusters and work with stretch clusters. Provide multi-level support for production environments. Perform system upgrades and security patching. Manage incident and problem resolution for production issues. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in server engineering preferred. Expert knowledge of multiple Windows OS versions and enterprise components. Strong understanding of cluster technologies and load balancing. Good knowledge of virtualization technologies and products. Strong communication and project management skills.
