  • $25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Computer operation Vehicle inspections Visual inspections for vehicle diagnostics Computer literacy Visual inspection for vehicle damage High school diploma or GED Driver's License Computer skills Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Report directly to and work closely with the Body Shop Manager.
Monitor, maintain, and respond to Body Shop email communications. Record and distribute daily Body Shop meeting notes and action items. Research labor and refinish times to assist with repair estimates and customer or internal quote requests. Assist in inspecting vehicles and documenting damage to prepare accurate repair estimates. Coordinate with internal administrative teams to ensure Repair Orders are created and updated accurately. Track vehicle progress throughout the repair process using company systems, including updating vehicle statuses through scans. Update vehicle locations as repairs are completed and vehicles are moved to delivery or staging areas. Run daily operational reports to identify vehicles requiring Body Shop processing and monitor workflow. Maintain accurate service records and documentation in company systems. Communicate effectively with operations, administrative staff, technicians, and management regarding repair status and scheduling. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to walk throughout the facility and vehicle storage areas. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and use a computer for extended periods. Ability to inspect vehicles and document visible damage. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent 1+ years' experience as a Service Writer, Body Shop Coordinator, Automotive Service Advisor, or similar role. Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn company operating systems. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of vehicles, including vehicle body panels and common repair terminology. Experience with vehicle inspections, estimating, or repair order management. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and body shop operations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
